One local practice. Care that changes with your family.
Mountain Movement provides individualized chiropractic care for adults, parents, teens, children, athletes, desk workers, laborers, and older adults—without treating every person the same.
The same household can have very different reasons for coming in.
A parent may be dealing with back pain from lifting. A teenager may have a sports injury. A desk worker may have neck tension. An older adult may want to move with more confidence.
Dr. Hansen evaluates each person separately and adjusts technique, goals, and home guidance to their age, health history, comfort, and daily demands.
Care built around the life you actually live.
Mountain Movement focuses on musculoskeletal pain, stiffness, injury recovery, and movement—not broad promises about unrelated health conditions.
Working adults and parents
Care for back pain, neck tension, repetitive strain, lifting demands, and the physical load of work and family life.
Kids and teens
Age-appropriate care for activity-related aches, sports strain, and musculoskeletal concerns, coordinated with pediatric care when needed.
Older adults
Gentle options for pain, stiffness, and useful daily movement with attention to health history, medications, balance, and bone health.
Personalized care without unnecessary complexity.
Each visit is designed to answer three questions: what is bothering you, what is limiting you, and what can help you move forward?
Family care does not mean everyone needs ongoing visits.
Some people need short-term care for a new problem. Others choose periodic care because it helps them manage recurring physical demands. Recommendations should match the individual—not a membership expectation.
A consistent process with an individual plan.
The structure stays simple even though the details differ from person to person.
Start with the main concern
Explain what hurts, what has changed, and what you want to get back to doing.
Check movement and function
The exam helps identify mechanical factors and screens for reasons to refer.
Choose the appropriate care
Treatment is adapted to the individual and explained before it begins.
Build independence
Home guidance and follow-up recommendations are designed to support normal life outside the clinic.
Family chiropractic questions.
Call or text Mountain Movement at (605) 418-5994 when you are unsure which appointment to choose.
Does everyone in the family receive the same adjustment?
No. Technique, force, positioning, examination, and goals should change based on age, health history, comfort, and the reason for the visit.
Do you require long-term family care plans?
No preset plan fits every person. Recommendations are based on the examination, response to care, goals, and whether the problem is new, recurring, or long-standing.
Can multiple family members book together?
Appointments are booked individually. Call or text the office when you want help coordinating times for more than one person.
What conditions do you treat?
Mountain Movement focuses on musculoskeletal complaints such as back pain, neck pain, headaches with mechanical contributors, joint pain, stiffness, sports injuries, and movement limitations.
Do you treat illnesses or improve immunity?
No. Chiropractic care at Mountain Movement is not presented as treatment for infections, allergies, digestive disease, immune disorders, or other non-musculoskeletal conditions.
Where can I find pricing?
Current self-pay prices and appointment options are listed on the Jane booking page. Insurance details are on the FAQs & Pricing page.
